No. 2 Davey Allison wins the drag race by a nose (1990).

The golden era of Bristol Motor Speedway were the 90s with a lot of great races. In 1990 it was a photo finish that decided who was the winner between Davey Allison and Mark Martin. At the beginning of the final lap it was a four-car race for the win but exiting turn two Sterling Marlin crashed leaving the front two drivers competing for the victory.

Martin got alongside the leader on the inside of turn four but the driver of the #28 machine came back with more momentum on the outside. A drag race generated, with the two crossing the line almost in the same moment. Allison was declared the winner by a nose.
