Loser: Justin Allgaier

It was already a rushed weekend for Justin Allgaier as he was filling in for Michael Annett, who was suffering from flu-like symptoms, but his weekend got a little worse on Sunday.

On Lap 358, Kyle Busch went for a spin after him and his team suspected there was a problem with his car. Soon after, Allgaier came through and made contact with Busch’s car, ultimately ending his day.

In the process, he managed to slide up the track and get Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Larson involved in the accident as well. Afterwards, Busch had this to say about the driver of the No. 46 car (via FOX Sports):

"“The person that’s the biggest moron out there is the spotter on the 46 and the driver of the 46. I’d been wrecking for half a lap and they just came through and cleaned us out. That’s stupid.”"

Larson took to Twitter and explained his frustration with how the two guys (him and Truex Jr.) “with the worst luck” were both caught up in the same accident at Bristol.

It’s safe to say that after Sunday’s events, Justin Allgaier wasn’t a very popular driver in the garage.
