No.2 Carl Edwards moves Kyle Busch to win (2016).

Even the other race held at Richmond in 2016 proved to be a great one. Kyle Busch was leading late but his teammate Carl Edwards tracked him down in the closing stages. When the final lap began Edwards looked to be way faster than the leader and immediately tried an unsuccessful move in turn 1. Busch was back in the lead on the backstretch but probably entered turn three a little bit too easy because his teammate caught him back immediately.

  • It was the last chance to get the lead and Edwards decided to go all in. He bumped Busch wide without thinking twice about it and crossed the stripe first. It was not the most “polite” move to make on a teammate but still, nobody wrecked so it was all fair and square.
