Toyota Starts Out Strong

Here’s a little Chase preview for you; expect Toyota drivers to run strong early on in the post-season.

Now I know that might come as a shock to most people, but realistically Toyota drivers have been so dominant this season that its hard to imagine they won’t start off the Chase the same way.

Kyle Busch is your leader heading into the Chase and sits on the pole this Sunday, Denny Hamlin won the last race of the regular season and Martin Truex Jr. won two of NASCAR’s biggest races this season.

Don’t count out Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards who have both won two races this season and could be a major factor this Sunday at Chicagoland.

Chicagoland is going to be a preview of what we see for the rest of the Chase as far as how strong manufacturers are. The majority of the Chase is made up of cookie cutter tracks after all and if Toyota ends up looking strong on Sunday they will more than likely run strong at the other 1.5 mile tracks.

Toyota, specifically the Joe Gibbs Racing Alliance has been strong all season and will start off the Chase just as strong.
