This was the last the blockbuster success of the Burt Reynolds and Hal Needham combination that brought us Smokey and the Bandit among others. This superstar cast included new James Bond Rodger Moore, unknown Jackie Chan, Farrah Fawcett, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Terry Bradshaw, Dao DeLuise and so many cameos it would fill the page. Based on the real life race cross country this cast obviously had fun the entire time filming this movie and it comes straight through the screen.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

This is the quintessential go to movie for racing quotes. Dale Earnhardt Jr. pushing to get an autograph Will Farrell tells you all you need to know about Ricky Bobby. He is on top of the NASCAR world using every cliché for the sport they can find. An up and coming Amy Adams is great as assistant Susan, John C. Riley as Cal Naughton Jr. and Sacha Baron Cohen as the fantastic villain Jean Girard headline this perfect cast.

Stroker Ace

This is for all the old school NASCAR fans, another Hal Needham Burt Reynolds special. Reynolds plays superstar NASCAR driver Stroker Ace who can’t keep his sponsor. Costars Lonie Anderson, Jim Nabors, Ned Beaty among other come along for the ride that even involves Reynolds in a chicken outfit driving during a race. The great part about this movie is NASCAR greats Dale Earnhardt, Tim Richmond, Harry Gant, Benny Parsons, Kyle Petty, Terry Labonte, Ricky Rudd and Cale Yarborough all have cameos in this movie.
