No. 2 – Joe Gibbs Racing

Team Value: $225 million / 2016 Team Revenue: $135 million

JGR has caught and surpassed Hendrick Motorsports in recent seasons but when it comes to their bank accounts, JGR is still playing second fiddle. Not only is JGR playing second fiddle to HMS when it comes to overall value, it’s truly not even close.

That being said, JGR is only one of two teams worth more than $200 million and that is saying something.

While the shock of Carl Edwards leaving before the start of the season has yet to settle with some fans, JGR has moved on and is looking for a championship in 2017. Even if Daniel Suarez isn’t capable of contending for a title, the other three drivers on the team are more than capable of winning one this season.
