No. 1 – Hendrick Motorsports

Team Value: $350 million / 2016 Team Revenue: $200 million

It’s good to be king and when it comes to the most valuable team in all of NASCAR, team Hendrick is the king.

Hendrick Motorsports is worth $125 million more than JGR who is in second. The gap between first and second is more than the teams ranked 7th-10th are worth and almost more than their combined worth. In 2016 HMS made $200 million in revenue and that is more than every team on this list is worth, sans JGR.

In 2017 Jimmie Johnson will be looking for his record-breaking eighth championship while the other three HMS drivers will be looking for their first titles. Earnhardt Jr. will be looking to win for the first time since 2015, Kahne for the first time since 2014 and Chase Elliott will be looking for his first Cup Series win ever.

It’s been a few seasons since HMS has put all of their drivers into the playoffs, will it happen again in 2017? Even if it doesn’t it’s hard to imagine them not being atop of this list once again next season.
