No. 4 – Richard Childress Racing

Team Value: $170 million / 2016 Team Revenue: $141 million

RCR could be a team that is one the rise in 2017.

In 2016 Austin Dillon finally took the next step in his young career as the driver of the No. 3 machine found consistency and strong finishes on the track. Dillon went to the playoffs for the first time in 2016 and will be looking to return in 2017. Dillon will also be looking for his first win of his career in 2017.

Along with Dillon, Ryan Newman will be looking to get some consistency on his side in 2017. In 2014 and 2015 Newman was a model of consistency with RCR, but that fell apart in 2016 when he missed the playoffs. Newman has looked strong to start off the 2017 season and while he might not win any races this season, he easily could get back to the playoffs on the strength of strong finishes.

The final piece of the puzzle is Paul Menard who is more than capable of making the playoffs based on points.
