Don’t Worry About Jimmie Johnson

Sound the alarms; we are three races into the season and Jimmie Johnson hasn’t won a race yet.

The Seven-Time Champion is still trying to win his race into the playoffs and after winning the championship last season it was almost expected for Johnson and the 48 team to come back and be the best team in 2017.

Realistically last season wasn’t the easiest for the 48 team. Yes, they won races, but they won them early in the season. As the 2016 year drew closer to the post-season it looked like the 48 team had lost a step and was going backwards.

Turns out they were just getting started.

Currently Johnson sits in 18th in the standings after finishing in 11th at Las Vegas. Luckily for Johnson and the 48 team there are several tracks coming up where Johnson runs well. He’s won five times in his career at Phoenix International Raceway and six times at Auto Club Speedway.

If you’re a fan of Jimmie Johnson don’t worry just yet. The defending NASCAR champion still has plenty of time to win a race.

And once the 48 team gets going it will be hard to stop them.
