Isaiah Thomas overcame the odds and became a superstar after being drafted last overall in the 2011 NBA Draft, and he, too, continues to improve, even while going through the recent death of his sister. Mikhail Aleshin overcame serious injuries he suffered from a crash at Fontana in 2014 to return to IndyCar racing, just as Paul George returned to basketball from a gruesome knee injury he suffered the same year. Both have channeled incredible potential over the course of their careers, George more so than Aleshin, as both have shown flashes of greatness. However, between the two, there are no race wins, no championships, and no NBA MVP awards. These athletes are both good with potential to be even greater.. .
