NASCAR is headed to Kansas Speedway for a Saturday night race. What will happen at the Go Bowling 400? Here are five predictions.

The Go Bowling 400 this Saturday night is NASCAR’s return from unique tracks like Talladega and Richmond to the cookie cutter 1.5-mile oval courses that will the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule.

Fans have already seen what type of racing happens at these types of tracks, and if the racing from earlier this season is any indication of what will happen on Saturday night, fans should get set to see just how much clean air matters to a lead car.

Ryan Blaney will start the race from the pole, but he wasn’t necessarily the fastest car on the track. A total of 11 drivers failed to make qualifying after struggling to get out of pre-qualifying inspection, so they never had the chance to run and try to beat Blaney’s speed. They will start the race from the back of the field, but will they struggle or does qualifying order not matter at a track like Kansas?

With so many drivers having issues in pre-qualifying inspection, could we also see more penalties come out after the race? NASCAR has handed out quite a few already and several teams have had crew chiefs suspended because of it.

And while teams continue to push the limits of NASCAR, there is one organization that hasn’t performed as well as everyone thought they would this year. Joe Gibbs Racing is still looking for their first win, but will it come at Kansas?

Before we get set to go racing at Kansas this Saturday night, here are five predictions for the Go Bowling 400.
