#30 through #26

#30. [Starting Position: 31st] — In five attempts, Sebastian Saavedra has never finished higher than 15th place at the Indy 500. Like Spencer Pigot, Saavedra is driving for Juncos Racing in the Indy 500, which is the team’s first IndyCar race. He, too, is well off the pace he is going to need to have in order to contend for the race victory.. No. 17. Juncos Racing, Chevrolet. SEBASTIAN SAAVEDRA

#29. [Starting Position: 28th] — Pippa Mann’s Indy 500 qualifying run on Saturday was one of the worst I have ever seen. In five previous Indy 500 races, she has never finished higher than 18th place. However, she has only finished lower than where she started in one of those races, so her 29th spot on these rankings isn’t too generous at all.. No. 63. Dale Coyne Racing, Honda. PIPPA MANN

#28. [Starting Position: 26th] — This season has been a disaster for Conor Daly, and he has a history of struggling at Indy, as his best finish is 22nd in three attempts. Couple that with the fact that Daly and AJ Foyt Enterprises as a whole do not have great speed at Indy this season and you’ll see that Daly’s chances at contending for the Indy 500 victory are slim to none.. No. 4. AJ Foyt Enterprises, Chevrolet. CONOR DALY

#27. [Starting Position: 25th] — Gabby Chaves is at a disadvantage in that he is driving for a one-car team who has never made an IndyCar appearance, and he himself has only driven in two Indy 500 races with a top finish of 16th in 2015. In 23 IndyCar races, Chaves has never had a true crash, however, so while he may not be a contender for the Indy 500 win, expect a solid effort from him.. No. 88. Harding Racing, Chevrolet. GABBY CHAVES

[Starting Position: 33rd] — James Davison didn’t completed a single lap all month at Indy until after qualifying. In two attempts, he has a top finish of 16th place in the Indy 500. If his car is as good as the one Sebastien Bourdais was supposed to race in, he may have his best IndyCar race ever, but it remains to be seen just how strong he is in his substitute role.. No. 18. Dale Coyne Racing, Honda. JAMES DAVISON. #26
