Honorable Mentions

HM. [Last Race: Not Ranked (+1)] — Ryan Blaney’s 10th place finish at Kentucky was his third top 10 finish in the past five races, and that includes his first career NASCAR Cup Series victory at Pocono. He very well could have five top 10 finishes in a row had it not been for late wrecks at Michigan and Daytona. Once the playoffs begin with Blaney in them for the first time in his career, he will certainly be a driver to keep an eye on since he has had success at a bunch of different types of tracks.. No. 21. Wood Brothers Racing, Ford. RYAN BLANEY

HM. [Last Race: Not Ranked (+2)] — Since winning at Richmond, Joey Logano has struggled mightily. In fact, if the playoffs started today, he would not be in thanks to his 25-point penalty after Richmond and the fact that his win there was encumbered. His 8th place finish at Kentucky was just his third top 20 in the past eight races, but since it was his third top 12 finish in the past four, it looks like he may be getting some of the momentum back that he lost after Richmond.. No. 22. Team Penske, Ford. JOEY LOGANO
