#16 through #13

CARLOS MUNOZ. #16. [Last Race: 17th (+1)] — In a field with over 20 full-time entries, Carlos Munoz’s speed has certainly not been good enough to make him 16th in an average set of rankings. However, he has been the best of a pack of drivers that have either not had great speed or have simply had poor results this season. He has had a few decent races despite driving for the slowest team in the sport, but overall, this season has been one to forget for him.. No. 14. AJ Foyt Enterprises, Chevrolet

#15. [Last Race: 14th (-1)] — I will say this much for Ed Jones. Overall, he has had an impressive rookie season, especially with his 3rd place finish at the Indianapolis 500, which is still his career-high IndyCar finish. But from an overall driver standpoint, there are plenty of drivers that have performed better than he has, especially as of late. He has just one finish better than 17th place over the course of the past five races. Perhaps Sebastien Bourdais returning to Dale Coyne Racing will provide Jones with the spark he needs to get back on the right track.. No. 19. Dale Coyne Racing, Honda. ED JONES

Ed Carpenter Racing, Chevrolet. JR HILDEBRAND. #14. [Last Race: 10th (-4)] — JR Hildebrand came back down to Earth following a career-high 2nd place finish at Iowa with just a 13th place finish at Toronto. While 13th place is actually pretty solid for him on a road and street course, IndyCar’s schedule is dominated by road and street courses, so far him to hang onto a higher spot in these rankings, he needs to make some improvements so that a 13th place finish isn’t considered “solid”.. No. 21

#13. [Last Race: 8th (-5)] — Tony Kanaan’s chance at a good finish at Toronto came to a halt when he went straight into the tire barrier after he had had a pretty solid start to the race. He has had a very inconsistent season up to this point in time, and his only really great finish was his 2nd place finish at Texas, a race at which he only got back on the lead lap from two laps down thanks to IndyCar making up competition caution rules after an eight-car crashed that Kanaan caused.. No. 10. Chip Ganassi Racing, Honda. TONY KANAAN
