#6 and #5

No. 11. Joe Gibbs Racing, Toyota. DENNY HAMLIN. #6. [Last Race: 3rd (-3)] — Coming into the Brickyard 400, Denny Hamlin was perhaps the hottest driver in the Cup Series. He was the most recent race winner at New Hampshire, and he had finished in the top 4 in four of the past five races. He looked like he had a shot at at least another top 5 finish at Indianapolis, but he was unfortunately caught up in a few incidents late in the race that cost him his chance to continue his hot streak. Nevertheless, he is still locked into the playoffs and is currently in 5th place in the championship standings.

#5. [Last Race: 7th (+2)] — Brad Keselowski finished in 2nd place at the Brickyard 400, which is tied for his highest finish since his most recent victory back at Martinsville. He has been rather inconsistent as of late, as that 2nd place result was only his third top 15 finish over the course of the past six races. But if he is indeed starting to heat up again, he will likely be a championship contender when the playoffs roll around. After all, he did win the championship in the 2012 season.. No. 2. Team Penske, Ford. BRAD KESELOWSKI
