#2 and #1

[Last Race: 4th (+2)] — For the first time in months, Kyle Larson is not in the top 2 in these rankings. But we still have a Kyle in the top 2, as Kyle Busch is now ranked at #2 after his first victory of the season at Pocono. That win ended the longest winless streak of his Cup Series career and it finally gave him a break from the frustrations that this season has brought to him. Is the win at Pocono a sign of things to come for the most recent addition to this year’s playoff field?. No. 18. Joe Gibbs Racing, Toyota. KYLE BUSCH. #2

[Last Race: 1st (-)] — It’s all Martin Truex Jr. at the front of both the championship standings and these rankings. His lead over 2nd place Kyle Larson in the standings is huge after his 3rd place finish at Pocono, a great bounce-back effort after crashing at Indianapolis. Add the fact that he is tied for the Cup Series lead with three victories as well as the fact that he leads all drivers in stage points and playoff points by a comfortable margin and you can see why he has a lock on this #1 spot for now.. No. 78. Furniture Row Racing, Toyota. MARTIN TRUEX JR.. #1
