#8 and #7

Stewart-Haas Racing, Ford. CLINT BOWYER. #8. [Last Race: 9th (+1)] — Unfortunately Clint Bowyer may have to win his first race since the 2012 season in order to qualify for this season’s playoffs, as he is currently on the outside looking in. However, his spot in these rankings jumps to #8 after he finished in 5th place at Watkins Glen for his second consecutive top 6 finish, his third top 7 finish in the last three races and his fifth top 7 finish in the last seven races. But to get into the playoffs via points, it may be too little, too late for Bowyer, much like for Daniel Suarez.. No. 14

BRAD KESELOWSKI. #7. [Last Race: 6th (-1)] — Brad Keselowski had a nice streak of three consecutive top 9 finishes going before he finished in 15th place at Watkins Glen. While he is locked into the playoffs with two victories so far this season, he hasn’t won a race since he won at Martinsville, which was now 17 races ago. In order to establish himself as a true championship contender with a legitimate chance at winning his second title, he will need to start winning races again, and he could use a bit more consistency as well.. No. 2. Team Penske, Ford
