#12 through #9

[Last Race: 10th (-2)] –Ryan Hunter-Reay saw his streak of four consecutive top 8 finishes come to an end after what was a solid performance at Gateway ended abruptly when he hit the wall late. With five DNFs and another four finishes outside the top 10 this season, this season has been littered with issues for Hunter-Reay as he continues to search for his first win since the 2015 season.. No. 28. Andretti Autosport, Honda. RYAN HUNTER-REAY. #12

#11. [Last Race: 9th (-2)] — Tony Kanaan had perhaps the most embarrassing race of his life at Gateway. After spinning on a pace lap, he started the race several laps down before the team parked him in the middle of the race. Aside of his three top 5 finishes at the three superspeedway races this season, Kanaan simply has not produced great results.. No. 10. Chip Ganassi Racing, Honda. TONY KANAAN

#10. [Last Race: 11th (+1)] — After struggling a decent amount throughout the middle of the season, James Hinchcliffe has definitely been better lately, minus his wreck at Pocono. His 8th place finish at Gateway was his fourth top 11 finish in the last five races, including a 3rd place effort in his home race at Toronto.. No. 5. Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, Honda. JAMES HINCHCLIFFE

#9. [Last Race: 8th (-1)] — Takuma Sato’s post-Indianapolis 500 struggles continued with an early wreck at Gateway. As the fastest Honda driver in qualifying, Sato had a chance to secure another great finish on an oval this season, but it was simply not meant to be, as he did not even complete one green flag lap.. No. 26. Andretti Autosport, Honda. TAKUMA SATO
