Richard Childress Racing, Chevrolet. AUSTIN DILLON. #12. [Last Race: 15th (+3)] — Austin Dillon’s 16th place result in the playoffs opener at Chicagoland was not fantastic, but he did perform better than a number of other playoff drivers. No. 21. Wood Brothers Racing, Ford. RYAN BLANEY. #11. [Last Race: 12th (+1)] — Ryan Blaney didn’t have a notably fantastic performance in his first career playoff race at Chicagoland, but he did come home in 11th place ahead of a number of the other playoff drivers.

No. 1. Chip Ganassi Racing, Chevrolet. JAMIE MCMURRAY. #10. [Last Race: 14th (+4)] — Jamie McMurray’s performance in the playoff opener at Chicagoland kind of sums up his 2017 season. He wasn’t in the mix to win, but he still ended up finishing in a solid position in 10th place.

No. 20. Joe Gibbs Racing, Toyota. MATT KENSETH. #9. [Last Race: 9th (-)] — Matt Kenseth collected a solid 9th place finish at Chicagoland to open up this year’s playoffs.
