#12. [Last Race: 10th (-2)] — Nico Hulkenberg was a non-factor at Malaysia en route to just a 16th place finish, his worst result in a race he has finished all season long. He hasn’t finished in the top 12 at all in the last three races.. Renault. Renault. NICO HULKENBERG

#11. [Last Race: 9th (-2)] — Carlos Sainz Jr. may have been able to secure a solid result at Malaysia even after starting in 14th place, but we will never know, as he was forced to retire for the first time in the last five races and came away with a 19th place result.. Williams. Mercedes. FELIPE MASSA. #10. [Last Race: 11th (+1)] — Felipe Massa got back on track with a 9th place finish at Malaysia after suffering his first non-top 10 in a race he finished at Singapore since he finished in 13th way back in the fifth race of the season at Spain.

[Last Race: 12th (+3)] — Lance Stroll finished in a respectable 8th place finish at Malaysia for his third straight top 8 finish after finishing in the top 8 just once in the first 12 races of the season.. Williams. Mercedes. LANCE STROLL. #9

#8. [Last Race: 8th (-)] — It was not as pretty as he would have liked, but Esteban Ocon still managed to finish in the top 10 for the ninth straight race with his 10th place finish at Malaysia.. Force India. Mercedes. ESTEBAN OCON

Mercedes. SERGIO PEREZ. #7. [Last Race: 7th (-)] — Sergio Perez put together a solid performance at Malaysia en route to a 6th place finish to stretch farther away from everyone below him in the drivers championship, where he currently sits in 7th.. Force India
