First prediction: Ford will win its 5th straight Talladega Race

Incidentally, Ford is on a roll as a manufacturer winning the last four races at Talladega. To make matters worse for Toyota and Chevrolet, Ford has won seven of the last 10 races at Talladega as well. Therefore, it’s almost smarter for the Toyota and Chevrolet teams to stay home this weekend.

The past four winners at Talladega were Joey Logano, who won both of the Fall 2015 and Fall 2016 races, his teammate Brad Keselowski who won the spring race in 2016 and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who won this past May. Unfortunately, Logano is winless in 2017 and not in the playoffs. However, Keselowski and Stenhouse Jr. are still in the playoff hunt and could both be favorites to win this weekend.

By and large, if you’re someone who bets on racing, you may want to put your money on a Ford team this weekend despite the fact that they haven’t won any of the last 13 races this season. An even safer bet would be to put your money on a Round of 12 Ford driver. The absolute safest driver to pick would be Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who has seemed to have figured out the super speedways in 2017.
