#12 through #9

No. 1. Chip Ganassi Racing, Chevrolet. JAMIE MCMURRAY. #12. [Last Race: 7th (-5)] — Jamie McMurray was the first Round of 12 playoff driver who wrecked at Talladega. While nine more of the other 11 Round of 12 playoff drivers wrecked as well throughout the race, McMurray finds himself well beneath the Round of 8 cut line in 12th place and will likely need to win his first race since the 2013 season at Kansas to advance to the next round.

[Last Race: 12th (+1)] — Talladega was the one playoff track at which Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had a legitimate chance to be victorious and advance to the next round. However, he ended up wrecking, and his chances of advancing to the Round of 8 likely went out the window because of it.. No. 17. Roush Fenway Racing, Ford. RICKY STENHOUSE JR.. #11

Joe Gibbs Racing, Toyota. KYLE BUSCH. #10. [Last Race: 8th (-2)] — Kyle Busch was the hottest driver in the field heading into the Round of 12. But the fact that his finish of 27th place at Talladega after wrecking was the better of his two finishes so far in the Round of 12 show what kind of round it has been for the first driver currently below the Round of 8 cut line.. No. 18

Joe Gibbs Racing, Toyota. MATT KENSETH. #9. [Last Race: 10th (+1)] — While Matt Kenseth was one of 10 Round of 12 playoff drivers involved in at least one wreck at Talladega, he was still able to finish the race, doing so in 14th place. However, he is currently the second driver below the Round of 8 cut line heading into the final Round of 12 race at Kansas next Sunday.. No. 20
