Homestead-Miami Prediction #2 – The non-Championship 4 driver who has the best chance to win is Chase Elliott

There is no question millions of fans, including myself, would like to see the #88 in Victory Lane on Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway. However, the driver I feel has the best chances to win is Chase Elliott. This would be the second-best way to cap off the 2017 season with Elliott celebrating the win.

Chase Elliott has been so close to victory that he can practically taste it. Elliott had yet another 2nd place finish last weekend at Phoenix. It appeared he was on his way to victory before Matt Kenseth caught him and eventually took home the win. With the NASCAR Cup Series heading to ar 1.5-mile course, we know Elliott will be a top contender.

Of course, the top four drivers gunning for the championship will more than likely dominate every other team, but I still feel Chase Elliott will be in the discussion late in the race. It will be his last shot at a win in the historic #24 for Hendrick Motorsports before moving to the #9 next season. Even if Elliott doesn’t win on Sunday, expect him to be well within the top 10.
