Homestead-Miami Prediction #3 – One of the championship drivers will win the pole

In my opinion, the worst part about the NASCAR Cup Series is it’s playoff format. One reason is the fact 36 drivers are all basically running for nothing on Sunday. Those 36 drivers will also be “walking on egg shells” trying not to be a negative factor in the championship.

With this being said, the chances of one of the final four drivers being on the pole is very high. We’re talking about four drivers who have one shot at winning the 2017 championship. Of the 40 drivers, 36 will be out on the track to turn some laps and go on vacation. However, the final four drivers will be pressing and more focused than the rest.

Starting up front will be crucial on Sunday. Any possible advantage Busch, Keselowski, Harvick or Truex Jr. can get, they will try to take. I have to go with Kyle Busch winning the pole on Sunday. Since I am picking him to win the pole, is he also my pick to win the championship? Click on prediction #4 to find out!
