Chip Ganassi Racing, Chevrolet

JAMIE MCMURRAY. B-. For the fourth straight season, Jamie McMurray did not win a single NASCAR Cup Series race. However, he still had a very consistent season that allowed him to qualify for the playoffs, and he advanced to the Round of 12 before being eliminated. He finished in an 11th place tie in the final standings with a season-high 2nd place finish at Talladega.. No. 1. Chip Ganassi Racing, Chevrolet

No. 42. Chip Ganassi Racing, Chevrolet. KYLE LARSON. B+. The 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season was the season that “could have been” for Kyle Larson. After winning four races in the regular season, he was one of the favorites to get to the Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami. However, engine issues in the Round of 12 at Kansas prevented him from even advancing to the Round of 8, during which he finished zero races as a non-championship contender.

Richard Childress Racing, Chevrolet

Paul Menard was the lone Richard Childress Racing driver who did not win a single race in the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season, and he is still winless since the 2011 season. His three top 10 finishes this season all came in restrictor plate races, including his season-high 3rd place finish at Daytona.. No. 27. Richard Childress Racing, Chevrolet. PAUL MENARD. D

C. While he had just four top 10 finishes in the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season, Austin Dillon won his first career race at Charlotte and advanced to the playoffs because of it. While he did not record a single top 10 finish in the 10 playoff races, he finished outside of the top 19 just once in those races and ended up in an 11th place tie in the final standings.. No. 3. Richard Childress Racing, Chevrolet. AUSTIN DILLON

Richard Childress Racing, Chevrolet. RYAN NEWMAN. C+. Ryan Newman had a quietly productive 2017 NASCAR Cup Series season despite the fact that he only qualified for the playoffs because of his win at Phoenix and ended up finishing in 16th in the final standings after being eliminated in the Round of 16. He racked up four podium finishes, seven top 5 finishes and 13 top 10 finishes this season.. No. 31
