Danica Patrick’s stats at Daytona

Starts: 11

Wins: 0

Tops 5 finishes: 0

Top 10 finishes: 2

Average finish: 23.82

Honestly, I was disappointed when I first saw this because I expected to see a few more top 10 finishes sprinkled on there or at least a better average finish. That being said, statistically, Daytona is her best track. Take from that what you will.

I’ve never sugar-coated it when it comes to Danica in NASCAR. She’s always been a below average driver, and the stats and her overall performance both show this.

That being said, she’s still capable of doing well and Daytona is a track where anyone can lead the pack at a moment’s notice.

You also cannot underestimate a passionate driver’s desire to win, and Danica Patrick has never been short on passion for racing.

Never count out a driver like her when they’re in a must-win situation, and I believe in her mind, this is a must-win race.
