#20 through #17

MATHEUS LEIST. #20. Matheus Leist has never driven in an IndyCar race before, and he is set to make his debut as a full-time driver this season driving for A.J. Foyt Enterprises, the team that had the slowest cars throughout the 2018 season. With the new universal aero kits this year, the team should not be at as big of a disadvantage as they were last season, but it certainly won’t be easy for Leist to have a ton of success in his rookie season.. No. 4. A.J. Foyt Enterprises, Chevrolet

Spencer Pigot has just two career IndyCar oval races under his belt after driving in just the road and street course races for Ed Carpenter in each of the last two seasons. With a career-high 7th place finish and just four other top 10 finishes in 22 starts, Pigot has not established himself as a driver capable of winning IndyCar races. That could change this season, but it certainly won’t be easy for him.. No. 21. Ed Carpenter Racing, Chevrolet. SPENCER PIGOT. #19

GABBY CHAVES. #18. Gabby Chaves recorded two top 9 finishes in three races in Harding Racing’s first part-time IndyCar season last year. However, those great results, which included a career-high 5th place finish, came largely due to the fact that the attrition rates in those races were particularly high. With Harding Racing set to compete full-time for the first time this season, it may be tough for Chaves to consistently rack up solid results.. No. 88. Harding Racing, Chevrolet

#17. Despite not winning a race since the 2013 season, Charlie Kimball had been getting better and better heading into the 2017 season. However, he had an awful season last year, as he finished in 17th place in the championship standings without a single finish of higher than 6th in a race. This season, he is set to drive for Carlin Motorsport, a team with no career IndyCar starts. It may be tough for him to have frequent success.. No. 23. Carlin Motorsport, Chevrolet. CHARLIE KIMBALL
