#7 through #5

#7. Williams are set to be the youngest team in the sport in the 2018 season. Sergey Sirotkin, 22, is a rookie, while Lance Stroll, 19, is set to enter his second season in the sport after a 2017 season during which he was inconsistent but showed flashes of potential. Williams may not do as well as they have in recent years, but both of their drivers should be able to rack up several solid results throughout the year.. Williams Martini Racing. Mercedes. WILLIAMS MARTINI RACING

#6. The factory Renault team may end up being the worst team powered by Renault engines in the 2018 season. However, they still look like they will be fairly strong. Nico Hulkenberg was solid in his first season for the team in 2017, and the replacement of Jolyon Palmer with Carlos Sainz Jr. looks like it could pay off in a big way, as we already saw in Sainz Jr.’s four races with the team to close out the 2017 season.. Renault Sport. Renault. RENAULT SPORT

McLaren. Renault. MCLAREN . #5. Despite their reliability issues in recent seasons with Honda engines, McLaren have still had a fairly good aerodynamic setup. With the team set to make the switch from Honda engines to Renault engines in the 2018 season, expect them to benefit greatly in both the consistency category and the results category to the point where we may see their drivers running at the front of the field if not winning from time to time.
