#16 through #13

Haas, Ferrari. KEVIN MAGNUSSEN. #16. Kevin Magnussen did not show much strength in his first season driving for Haas last season, as he racked up just five top 10 finishes with a best result of 7th place. His best career finish continues to be his 2nd place effort in his first career race back in the 2014 season when he drove for McLaren. With Haas looking like they are going to be one of the slowest teams in the field in the 2018 season, expect his struggles to continue.. No. 20

Haas, Ferrari. ROMAIN GROSJEAN. #15. Like his Haas teammate Kevin Magnussen, Romain Grosjean did not show much strength in the 2017 season. However, despite the fact that he finished just one spot ahead of his teammate in the drivers standings, he was able to rack up eight top 10 finishes and a best finish of 6th place. His first two seasons driving for Haas have not been spectacular, and the likelihood that that will change and his third season driving for the team is minimal.. No. 8

No. 35. Williams Martini Racing, Mercedes. SERGEY SIROTKIN. #14. Sergey Sirotkin has never driven in Formula One before, but that is set to change this season, as he is set to replace Felipe Massa at Williams. Given the fact that the team’s equipment has been solid in recent years, he should not do that poorly in his rookie season. However, it seems like it would be a stretch to think that he could achieve a high finish in the drivers standings ahead of several of the other drivers ahead of him in these rankings.

No. 18. Williams Martini Racing, Mercedes. LANCE STROLL. #13. Lance Stroll had some strong moments in his rookie season last season driving for Williams en route to a 12th place finish in the drivers standings. He racked up seven top 10 finishes in the final 14 races of the season. However, nearly half of his point total came as a result of his 3rd place finish at Baku, which many people deemed a fluke. He will need to be more consistent in the 2018 season if he wants to tie or better his final standings position from the 2017 season.
