The sixth race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season, the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway, is in the books. Which drivers rank where in the power rankings?

For the first time since October of 2012 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, Clint Bowyer drover to victory lane in a NASCAR Cup Series race. He did so in the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia in his #14 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing.

By winning at Martinsville, Bowyer ended what was a 190-race win drought, which was the third longest active win drought among full-time drivers in the sport and was the second longest active win drought among full-time drivers in the sport who have won at least one race before.

Meanwhile, 2nd place finisher Kyle Busch finished on the podium for the fourth time in the last four races, and he shot to the top of the championship standings as a result of it in his #18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. However, he has still not yet won a race in six attempts so far this season.

How did all of the action from the STP 500 at Martinsville affect the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings?

Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings following the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Note that Jeffrey Earnhardt was removed from both of these rankings as a result of the fact that he parted ways with StarCom Racing despite the fact that he was originally slated to be their full-time driver throughout the 2018 season.
