One of the six oval races on the 2018 IndyCar season schedule is in the books. How to the driver oval power rankings look after the Phoenix race?

The 2018 Desert Diamond West Valley Casino Grand Prix, which is the second race of the 17-race 2018 IndyCar season and the first of six oval races in the 2018 IndyCar season, is officially in the books.

Josef Newgarden took the checkered flag in front of the rest of the field in his #2 Chevrolet for Team Penske to win the 250-lap race at the four-turn, 1.022-mile dogleg ISM Raceway oval in Avondale, Arizona.

Newgarden, the defending IndyCar champion, is the first winner of an oval race in the new universal aero kit era. As a result, he is on top of the first edition of the IndyCar Driver Oval Power Rankings in the 2018 season by the nature of the formula used to determine the rankings.

Where do all of the other 20 drivers who are set to drive in every oval race of the 2018 season rank in these rankings following the race at Phoenix?

Note that every statistic referenced in these rankings takes into account oval races only. Road and street course races are not factored into these rankings in any way. As a result, only statistics from the race at Phoenix are included in this particular edition of these rankings.
