Techeetah’s Jean-Eric Vergne won his third race of the 2017-2018 Formula E season, giving him three victories in the last five races.

Techeetah’s Jean-Eric Vergne became the first driver to win three races in the 2017-2018 Formula E season, and he did so in only the eighth race of the season. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that his most recent victory is his third victory in the last five races.

Vergne earned his third win of the season and in the last five races by dominating the 2018 Paris ePrix at the 14-turn, 1.20-mile (1.93-kilometer) Circuit des Invalides in Paris, France. He started the race from the pole position and never really looked back.

After only losing the lead during his pit stop, Vergne went on to hold off Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler’s Lucas di Grassi, who has now finished in second place in three consecutive races, by 4.882 seconds.

How did the action from the 2018 Paris ePrix affect the Formula E Driver Power Rankings? Here are formulated Formula E Driver Power Rankings and the non-formulated Formula E Driver Power Rankings following the eighth race of 12 races on the 2017-2018 Formula E schedule.

Because of the fact that Ma Qing Hua replaced Luca Filippi in the #68 Spark-NIO for the NIO Formula E Team in the 2018 Paris ePrix, Filippi is not included in these Formula E Driver Power Rankings. However, that does not mean he is ineligible to return if he returns to the sport later this season.
