Mookie Betts

No. 50, Right Fielder. Boston Red Sox. MOOKIE BETTS. 25.

Mookie Betts, 25, is a right fielder for the Boston Red Sox of the MLB. He has played for the Red Sox ever since making his MLB debut in the 2014 season.

So far this season, Betts is 44 for 127 (.356 batting average) with 13 home runs, 27 runs batted in and 39 runs scored. He has also five stolen bases.

Over the course of his five-year career in the MLB, Betts is 653 for 2,213 (.295 batting average) with 91 home runs, 337 runs batted in and 388 runs scored. He has also stolen 85 bases.

Betts achieved his career-high of a .318 batting average in the 2016 season, his career-high of 31 home runs in the 2016 season, his career-high of 113 runs batted in in the 2016 season, his career-high of 122 runs scored in the 2016 season, and his career-high of 26 stolen bases in both the 2016 season and the 2017 season.

As noted by his solid stolen base statistics, Betts is extremely athletic and quick, much like Jose Altuve is, which bodes well for any IndyCar driver. At 5’9″, 175 pounds, he not be as ideal as Altuve would be in terms of getting into the cockpit of an IndyCar, but he could definitely still pull it off.
