Where do the NASCAR Cup Series drivers stack up against one another following Kyle Busch’s dominant performance in the Coca-Cola 600?

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch dominated the Coca-Cola 600, the 13th race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season and the race that marked the halfway point of the regular season, in his #18 Toyota en route to his fourth victory of the season.

Busch started the 400-lap race at the four-turn, 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway quad oval in Concord, North Carolina from the pole position and led 377 of its laps, a total that trails only the laps led total of Martin Truex Jr. in the Coca-Cola 600 history. Truex Jr. led 392 of the race’s 400 laps back in 2016.

Busch’s fourth victory through 13 races so far this season is also his fourth victory in the last seven races. Following his three-race winning streak that included victories at Texas, Bristol and Richmond, Busch went somewhat cold and failed to finish higher than 10th place in the next three races.

However, Busch responded in dominant fashion to claim his first career Cup Series victory in a points race at Charlotte after sweeping every stage of the race, which helped him to boost his lead in the championship standings and take the lead in the playoff standings.

How did Busch’s dominant performance and the action throughout the rest of the Coca-Cola 600 affect the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings? Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings following Busch’s fourth win of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season.
