Formula 1 visited the normally exciting Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for a race that can only be explained as taking place, nothing more.

Sebastian Vettel dominated the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix in his Scuderia Ferrari through and through. The German escaped drama from the start and the following safety car period, and he drove away into his own zip code. He would go on to lead every lap of the 70-lap (68-lap) Formula 1 contest and finish 7.376 seconds ahead of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Valtteri Bottas.

The 2018 contest at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve could best be explained as a race that happened. The top three drivers finished in the same order in which they started, with Vettel winning, Bottas in second place and Max Verstappen in third. Here are the driver grades for the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix.
