#10 through #6

#10. Dalton Sargeant qualified in 10th and finished in ninth in stage one, yet he came home in 19th place. He fell to 10th in the championship standings. His deficit behind the playoff cut line is 39 points, which is about the point total of one whole race. If he wants to improve his playoff odds, he first must stay on the lead lap. He finished five laps down at Iowa.. No. 25, GMS Racing. Chevrolet, LW: 9. DALTON SARGEANT

No. 13, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 10. MYATT SNIDER. #9. While Myatt Snider finally moved up to ninth in this week’s power rankings, he still is 31 points behind the playoff cut line. Fortunately, he earned six stage points and finished 10th at Iowa. Consistent runs like that will help the rookie in his quest for a playoff berth.

Justin Haley has now competed in two different NASCAR series. In the Truck Series race, he finished in 16th, four laps down. The following day, he debuted in the Xfinity Series in the #23 GMS Racing Chevrolet. He stayed on the lead lap and finished in 12th in that race. He still seeks his first NASCAR win. A Truck Series win would lock him in the playoffs, as he is currently the last driver above the playoff cut line.. No. 24, GMS Racing. Chevrolet, LW: 8. JUSTIN HALEY. #8

#7. There was good and bad news for the #88 ThorSport Racing Ford team. The bad news is Matt Crafton wrecked and finished in 26th at Iowa Speedway. Additionally, he lacks a playoff point so far this season. The good news? Crafton finished in second and 10th place in the first two stages of the race, respectively. He led 20 laps, so he showed contending speed. Hopefully that speed carries over into future races for him.. No. 88, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 7. MATT CRAFTON

No. 98, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 6. GRANT ENFINGER. #6. Grant Enfinger finished in 11th at Iowa Speedway. While he did not accumulate any stage points, he finished on the lead lap. Currently, he is tied with Stewart Friesen for most points by a driver without a win. Enfinger hopes to parlay that consistency into wins in the near future.
