#10 through #6

CODY COUGHLIN. #10.
Welcome to the top 10, Cody Coughlin! His ninth place finish in the Eaton 200 moved him into 10th in the championship standings. However, he is still 47 points behind the playoff cut line, which is essentially an exceptional point total from one full race. If he wants to narrow that gap, he’ll need to score some stage points. He did not earn any at Gateway.
. No. 2, GMS Racing. Chevrolet, LW: NR

#9.
Myatt Snider is now 29 points behind teammate Ben Rhodes for the last playoff spot. Although his ThorSport Racing teammates struggled, Snider finished in fourth at Gateway. Just like Cody Coughlin, Snider did not earn any stage points in that race. For drivers seeking to advance to the playoffs via the championship standings, stage points are quite helpful. Look for Snider to accumulate some as he seeks his first NASCAR Truck Series playoff berth.
. No. 13, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 9. MYATT SNIDER

#8. As a two-time NASCAR Truck Series champion, Matt Crafton has lacked championship form. He battled a power issue at Gateway, which relegated him to 20th place. Fortunately, he finished in third in stage one. He sits in seventh in the championship standings.. No. 88, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 7. MATT CRAFTON

No. 41, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 5. BEN RHODES. #7. Bad luck found Ben Rhodes once again. Although he started in fifth, an incident during practice forced him to use a backup truck. At the beginning of the race, he came down pit road for a flat tire. He also brought out the final caution of the race when his truck stopped on the track. When the checkered flag flew, he finished three laps down in 19th place. To add insult to injury, Justin Haley’s victory moves Ben Rhodes down into the last playoff spot. Although he is 29 points above the cut line, a win by a driver currently below that cut line would knock him out.

#6. For the majority of the race weekend, Grant Enfinger had a solid run. He won the pole, led the first 36 laps of the race and won stage one. He backed up a strong run in stage one with an eighth place finish in stage two. Late in the race, someone made contact with Enfinger’s left rear tire, and he never recovered. He initially came down pit road with a flat tire and his pit crew changed his tires. Upon his return to the track, he cut another tire. These problems resulted in a 21st place finish. Not to worry, though. He is still fourth in the championship standings and fifth in the playoff standings.. No. 98, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 6. GRANT ENFINGER
