The French Grand Prix, which was the eighth race of the 2018 Formula 1 season, is in the books. How do the sport’s 20 drivers stack up against one another?

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton earned his third victory of the 2018 Formula 1 season and this third victory in the last five races by leading all but one lap of the 53-lap French Grand Prix at the Circuit Paul Ricard last Sunday.

Hamilton dominated the race around the 15-turn, 3.630-mile (5.842-kilometer) Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, Var, France just like he dominated the Spanish Grand Prix, the fifth race of the 2018 season in which he earned his second victory. He led all but eight laps of that race and only gave up the lead while he was in the pits, which was the only time during which he gave up the lead in the French Grand Prix as well.

Hamilton’s third victory of the season ties him with Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel atop the wins list so far this season. The only other driver who has won so far this season is Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo, who has two victories to his name in 2018.

Since the fourth race of the season, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Hamilton, Vettel and Ricciardo have been the only three drivers who have won at least one race so far this season. Will this continue, and if so, for how long?
