With the ninth race of the 2018 Formula 1 season in the books, how do the sport’s 20 drivers stack up against one another?
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen won the ninth race of the 21-race of the 2018 Formula 1 season, the Austrian Grand Prix. The victory was his first of the season and the fourth of his Formula 1 career.
By winning the 71-lap Austrian Grand Prix around the 10-turn, 2.683-mile (4.318-kilometer) Red Bull Ring road course in Spielberg, Styria, Austria, the 20-year-old Dutchman became the fourth driver to win a race this season.
Verstappen’s teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, has already earned two victories so far this season, while four-time Formula 1 champions Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport and Sebastian Vettel of Scuderia Ferrari have each won three races so far in 2018.
Following the Austrian Grand Prix, Vettel retook the lead in the driver standings over Hamilton by one point. Vettel finished the race in third place, while Hamilton failed to finish with a fuel pressure problem.
