#10 through #6

#10. In order to reach the Truck Series playoffs, Cody Coughlin needs to win his first career Truck Series race. He finished one lap down at Kentucky, so he has his work cut out for him. Two years ago, he won the last chance qualifier at Eldora Speedway. He hopes this year’s race at the track ends with a victory in the feature instead of in the last chance qualifier.. No. 2, GMS Racing. Chevrolet, LW: 10. CODY COUGHLIN

#9. Myatt Snider is in almost the same position as Cody Coughlin. Snider needs to nab his first career Truck Series win in order to make the 2018 Truck Series playoffs. Finishing 13 laps down at Kentucky Speedway certainly did not improve his playoff hopes. He has never raced at Eldora Speedway before, so he will hope to learn quickly as he chases that first career victory.. No. 13, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 9. MYATT SNIDER

MATT CRAFTON. #8. The race at Kentucky Speedway was one of the best races of the season so far for Matt Crafton. He brought his truck home in one piece, earned stage points, and finished in 3rd place. He definitely increased his confidence heading into the Eldora Dirt Derby, which he won last year.. No. 88, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 8

#7. Grant Enfinger finished in 5th place in both the first and second stages of the race, and he finished in 6th place in the race itself. He is currently 92 points above the playoff cut line. At the moment, he is in a comfortable spot to make the 2018 Truck Series playoffs. However, if a driver below the playoff cut line wins, his margin over that cut line will decrease. But as his teammate Ben Rhodes proved, winning cures all worries about making the playoffs.. No. 98, ThorSport Racing. Ford, LW: 6. GRANT ENFINGER

Chevrolet, LW: 4. STEWART FRIESEN. #6. Stewart Friesen led 37 laps of the race at Kentucky Speedway and appeared to be in line for his first career Truck Series victory. However, during the last pit stop, Ben Rhodes opted not to take tires while Friesen opted to take tires. This strategy allowed Rhodes to grab the lead and the eventual win. Friesen is the highest ranking driver in the point standings who does not have a win yet this season, and he is one of the favorites to win at Eldora Speedway, as he has a dirt racing background. Last year at Eldora, he won the pole, won his heat race, and led 93 laps. When the checkered flag flew, he finished in 2nd place. A win this year would give him his first career Truck Series win and his first career Truck Series playoff berth, and he would most assuredly move up the Truck Series driver power rankings.. No. 52, Halmar Friesen Racing
