With 12 of the 17 races on the 2018 IndyCar having been completed, how do the sport’s 20 full-time drivers stack up against one another?
Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon earned his third victory of the 17-race 2018 IndyCar season in the season’s 12th race, which ties him with Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden for the most victories among all drivers with just five races remaining in the season.
Dixon earned his third victory of the season by winning the 85-lap Honda Indy Toronto around the 11-turn, 1.786-mile (2.874-kilometer) temporary street circuit at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in his #9 Honda. His third victory of the season is also his third victory in the last six races, and it is his 44th career IndyCar victory.
Aside of Dixon and Newgarden, five other drivers have won at least one race so far this season. Only one of those five drivers, Team Penske’s Will Power, has won two races. The other four drivers, Andretti Autosport teammates Alexander Rossi and Ryan Hunter-Reay, Dale Coyne Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais and Schmidt Peterson Motorsports’ James Hinchcliffe, have each won one race.
How did Dixon’s third victory of the 2018 season and the rest of the action from the Honda Indy Toronto affect the IndyCar Driver Power Rankings? Here are the formulated IndyCar Driver Power Rankings and the non-formulated IndyCar Driver Power Rankings following the action from the streets of Toronto.

NOTE: Despite the fact that Gabby Chaves did not drive the #88 Harding Racing Chevrolet in the Honda Indy Toronto, he is still included in both sets of IndyCar Driver Power Rankings since he was not released by Harding Racing and is still technically considered a full-time driver.
