Last week, I made the decision to only pick just the one of the “big three” each week who I feel has the best opportunity to win. Unfortunately, I picked Kevin Harvick at Kentucky and Martin Truex Jr. made me look ridiculous with his performance. This week, I feel a little more comfortable with my choice in Kyle Busch.

Busch enters the race weekend at the top of the NASCAR Cup Series points standings. He is also very familiar with victory lane at Loudon having posted three career wins at the track, not to mention the fact he is also the defending race winner at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after winning there last September. It should also be mentioned that Busch has nine combined career wins in the Xfinity and Truck Series there.

In a year where three drivers have won 74% of the races, it’s hard not to like the odds for the driver who has most recently won at this track. Watch for Busch to dominate this weekend and 36 or so other drivers to be there for the fun of it. The biggest factor that could keep Busch out of victory lane is the threat of rain. A 60% chance of rain is predicted for this Sunday, which could lead to the next driver likely to win winning…
