Scuderia Toro Rosso, Honda

PIERRE GASLY. #10. . No. 10. Scuderia Toro Rosso, Honda

In his first full season as a Scuderia Toro Rosso driver, Pierre Gasly has experienced the highest of the highs and the lowest of the lows. In just the second race of the season, he secured a fourth place finish, which is better than any finish of any McLaren driver during their three-year stint with Honda from the 2015 season through the 2017 season.

However, the 22-year-old Frenchman has also been involved in several accidents. That said, he is certainly a talented young prospect, and Toro Rosso have no reason not to re-sign him for the 2019 season.

. No. 55. Scuderia Toro Rosso, Honda. CARLOS SAINZ JR.. #55

Carlos Sainz Jr. drove full-time for Scuderia Toro Rosso in the 2017 season before he was loaned out to Renault Sport for the final four races of the 2017 season and the 2018 season. But with Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, the parent organization of Toro Rosso, switching from Renault engines to Honda engines next season, it is unknown whether or not Sainz Jr. will be able to stay at Renault, and with there not being a strong likelihood of any open seat at Red Bull Racing, he may go back to Toro Rosso.

However, this may not be all that bad for the 23-year-old Spaniard, as with Red Bull Racing set to switch from Renault engines to Honda engines next season, this should allow Toro Rosso more room to grow as an organization, and it should allow Sainz Jr. to have more success as a result of it.
