Haas, Ferrari

SERGIO PEREZ. #11. . No. 11. Haas, Ferrari

Current Sahara Force India driver Sergio Perez is a former member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. While he likely will not drive for Scuderia Ferrari in the 2019 Formula 1 season, which makes sense as a result of the fact that he was released from the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2013 when he replaced Lewis Hamilton at McLaren as well as the fact that there are other drivers who are more closely associated with the Maranello-based team at this point, he could get back into the Ferrari picture by signing with Haas.

Haas are the team that have made major improvements this season as a result of their partnership with Ferrari, and they have performed at a higher level than Force India so far this season, so this move could pay off both in the short run and in the long run for the 28-year-old Mexican.

KEVIN MAGNUSSEN. #20. . No. 20. Haas, Ferrari

Kevin Magnussen is widely considered one of the top drivers if not the top driver among the drivers who are not currently driving for one of the top three teams in Formula 1, and his results so far this season show it. Haas have made a lot of improvements from their second season in the sport to their third, and Magnussen has capitalized on that.

Magnussen has racked up six top 10 finishes in 10 races so far this season, and four of those top 10 finishes have been top six finishes, meaning he has been finishing right up there with the drivers of the sport’s top three teams on a semi-regular basis. Haas have no reason not to re-sign the 25-year-old Dane, especially as they seek to continue to improve.
