Brett Moffitt won at Michigan for the second time in his NASCAR Truck Series career. Read about this and more in this week’s driver power rankings.

The ending of the 2018 Corrigan Oil 200 seemed all too familiar. Brett Moffitt dove under Johnny Sauter and won the race. He led twice for just five laps, but most importantly, he led the final lap.

When the checkered flag flew, Moffitt emerged with a 0.025-second margin over fellow championship contender Sauter. He now has five career NASCAR Truck Series wins with four of them coming in the 2018 season.

The victory is Moffitt’s second career win at Michigan International Speedway. In 2016, he won his first career Truck Series race in the 2016 Careers for Veterans 200 at the tram. In that race, he obviously led the final lap, but that was the only lap he led throughout the entire event. He beat teammate Timothy Peters by 0.098 seconds.

With four wins thus far in the 2018 Truck Series season, Moffitt is tied with Sauter for the most victories, and he sits fifth in the point standings. Only one race remains in the regular season. As such, the pressure is on for the drivers who have not yet clinched playoff berths.

Check out this week’s driver power rankings to read about the goals of the top 10 drivers, as the playoffs are only one race away. First, here are the 20 drivers in the top 30 in the point standings who are not in this week’s power rankings.
