Pierre Gasly is currently in his first season as a full-time Formula 1 driver after he substituted for Daniil Kvyat in five of the final six races of the 2017 season at Toro Rosso, the Red Bull Racing junior team. Toro Rosso retained him for the 2018 season.

The 22-year-old Frenchman was recently confirmed as the replacement for Daniel Ricciardo at Red Bull Racing next season after the 29-year-old Australian signed a two-year contract at the beginning of August to replace Carlos Sainz Jr. at Renault starting next year.

Max Verstappen is one of two drivers who entered the 2018 season with a confirmed contract that extends beyond the conclusion of this year. He signed a three-year contract extension last fall to remain with Red Bull Racing through at least the 2020 season.

The 20-year-old Dutchman has driven for Red Bull Racing since the fifth race of the 2016 season, the Spanish Grand Prix. He won this race and has gone on to win three more races. His four victories driving for the team are the first four victories of his Formula 1 career. He is the only driver in Formula 1 history who has won at least one race by the age of 20, and he won his first race at the age of 18.
