Because of the fact that the playoff point totals, standings positions and point totals used to calculate these formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings have changed following the conclusion of the Bank of America Roval 400, there are two formulated sets of NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings included in this article as opposed to only one like there usually is. The reason that these values changed is the fact that this race was the third and final race of the round of 16 and the round of 12 is now set to begin.

Here is the second formulated set of rankings. The updated playoff point totals, standings positions and overall point totals for each driver ahead of the round of 12 are included in the calculation used to determine these rankings. The changes reflected in the “Last Rank” category are the changes from the formulated set of rankings shown on the last few slides of this article to the updated formulated set of rankings shown on the next few slides.
