NASCAR Cup Series: What we know about the 2019 driver lineup

JTG Daugherty Racing

  • Chris Buescher is set to return to JTG Daugherty Racing in the 2019 season, which is set to be his fifth season and fourth full season driving in the NASCAR Cup Series as well as his third season driving for JTG Daugherty Racing. The length of his contract is unknown.
  • Ryan Preece currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He previously competed in five NASCAR Cup Series races in the 2015 season. He is set to replace A.J. Allmendinger at JTG Daugherty Racing next year. The length of his contract is unknown.

Richard Childress Racing

  • Austin Dillon is set to return to Richard Childress Racing in the 2019 season, which is set to be his ninth season and sixth full season driving in the NASCAR Cup Series as well as his eighth season and sixth full season driving for Richard Childress Racing. The length of his contract is unknown.
  • Daniel Hemric currently drives full-time for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He has driven in two NASCAR Cup Series races this season, the first two NASCAR Cup Series races of his career. He is set to replace Ryan Newman at Richard Childress Racing next year. The length of his contract is unknown.

Germain Racing

  • Ty Dillon is set to return to Germain Racing in the 2019 season, which is set to be his sixth season and third full season driving in the NASCAR Cup Series as well as his third season driving for Germain Racing. His contract runs through at least the 2019 season.
