Joey Logano is the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series champion! Here is how the sport’s 29 full-time drivers stack up against one another with the season in the books.

Team Penske’s Joey Logano earned his third victory of the 36-race 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season in the season’s final race, the Ford EcoBoost 400, at Homestead-Miami Speedway. As one of the four Championship 4 drivers, he clinched his first career Cup Series championship by winning this race.

Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch, two of the other three Championship 4 drivers, ended the season atop the wins list with eight victories each. Furniture Row Racing’s Martin Truex Jr., the other Championship 4 driver, was the only other driver aside of Harvick and Busch who won more races than Logano this year. He won four of them.

Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott, who was eliminated after the round of 8, and Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski, who was eliminated after the round of 12, were the two drivers with whom Logano finished tied in the wins category this year with three victories. Six other drivers earned either one victory or two victories this year.

How did Logano’s championship-winning performance in the 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Homestead-Miami Speedway oval in Homestead, Florida affect the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings? Here are the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings following the Ford EcoBoost 400.
