Kyle Busch is set to enter this Friday’s NASCAR Truck Series race, the Vankor 350, at Texas Motor Speedway having won four consecutive Truck Series races. Will he earn his fifth consecutive victory in this race?

In his fifth and final start of the 2018 NASCAR Truck Series season at Pocono Raceway last July, Kyle Busch Motorsports’ Kyle Busch earned the 51st victory of his Truck Series career, which tied the all-time record that was held by Ron Hornaday Jr.

In the first of his five starts in the 2019 Truck Series season at Atlanta Motor Speedway in February, Busch broke the all-time Truck Series wins record by earning the 52nd victory of his career.

The 33-year-old Las Vegas, Nevada native then went on to win the next two Truck Series races in which he competed, the races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway, making him three for three to start the 2019 season and giving him a four-race Truck Series win streak heading into the fourth of his five starts this season.

Busch is set to make his fourth start of the 2019 Truck Series season in this Friday night’s Vankor 350 at Texas Motor Speedway, and his four-race Truck Series win streak will be on the line in it.

Will Busch earn his fifth consecutive Truck Series victory by winning this 147-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) high-banked Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas?

So far this season, nobody has had any kind of answer for Busch in the Truck Series. He didn’t just win all three of the races in which he has competed; he dominated all three of the races in which he has competed. These three races consisted of a total of 514 laps. Busch led 376 of those 514 laps to extend the all-time Truck Series wins record to 54.

At Texas Motor Speedway, Busch has competed in 12 Truck Series races over the course of his career. His average finish in these 12 races is 10.92, which is below average by his standards. However, he has only finished eight of these 12 races, and in the eight races that he has finished, his average finish is 2.00.

Busch has recorded three victories, three second place finishes, one third place finish and one fourth place finish in the eight Truck Series races that he has finished at Texas Motor Speedway. As a result, he is, without question, the favorite heading into this Friday night’s race at the track.

Prior to his current four-race Truck Series win streak, Busch had only gone on a winning streak of more than three races in any NASCAR series twice in his career. He won five consecutive Truck Series races during the 2009 season before winning six consecutive Truck Series races from the 2013 season through the 2014 season.

So over the course of his NASCAR career, when Busch has won four consecutive races, he has won four consecutive Truck Series races, and when he has won four consecutive Truck Series races, he has gone on to win a fifth consecutive Truck Series race. With all things considered, expect more of the same this Friday night.
